Jack C. Newell is an award-winning writer, director, and producer specializing in storytelling within a humorous style. Witty brand stories that present the challenge of blending good dialogue, well-cast actors, superior art direction and believable, grounded performances is what interests him the most. He is an expert in delivering the certain level of humor that his clients seek.

He also loves long form content and feature work.  His feature length documentary, 42 Grams, about the restaurant of the same name is now available on worldwide VOD and Netflix.  His previous narrative feature films are the comedies Hope Springs Eternal, Open Tables and Close Quarters.

As Program Director of The Harold Ramis Film School at The Second City, in his home town of Chicago, he not only gets to absorb contemporary cutting edge humor, but also great potential casting  and well written scripts whilst continually discovering new techniques and insights into the current filming trends.
